Perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep, these recipes are packed with vibrant veggies, saucy chicken, and irresistible Korean flavor.

1. Korean BBQ Noodle Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked noodles (soba, udon, or wheat noodles)

  • 1 cup fried chicken chunks

  • 1 tbsp Korean BBQ sauce

  • 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 cup bell peppers, sliced

  • 1/4 cup pok choy, chopped

  • 1/4 cup Chinese cabbage, shredded

  • 1/4 cup broccoli florets

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Add sliced bell peppers, chopped bok choy, broccoli florets, and shredded Chinese cabbage. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp. Avoid overcooking—maintaining crunch ensures the best texture.

2. Add the Sauce:
Mix BBQ sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Pour over the vegetables and toss well. Add pre-cooked or freshly cooked noodles, stirring to coat everything evenly and let the noodles absorb the smoky, tangy flavor.

3. Add the Chicken:
Add fried chicken chunks (homemade or store-bought) to the pan. Stir-fry everything on high heat for 1–2 minutes, allowing the sauce to cling to the chicken and noodles while reheating the chicken to crispy perfection.

4. Serve Hot:
Remove from heat and transfer to bowls. Garnish with chopped spring onions or toasted sesame seeds, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy.

  • 1/2 tbsp oil

  • 1/4 cup bell peppers, diced

  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped

  • 1/4 cup cabbage, shredded

  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp chilli paste (Korean gochujang if available)

  • 1 tsp hoisin sauce

  • 1 tsp oyster sauce

  • 1/2 tsp ketchup

  • 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce

  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes

  • A few pieces of kimchi

  • Sesame seeds & sliced red chilli for garnish

Instructions:

1. Cook the Chicken:
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Add finely chopped garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add chicken pieces and cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and fully cooked.

Once the chicken is done, add sliced bell peppers, chopped onions, and shredded cabbage. Stir-fry over high heat for 3–4 minutes until the vegetables soften slightly but remain crisp.

3. Sauce It Up:
Add light soy sauce, hoisin, oyster sauce, ketchup, dark soy sauce, and a spoonful of chilli paste. Stir everything well and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and veggies.

4. Toss in the Noodles:
Add pre-cooked noodles to the wok. Toss gently with tongs or chopsticks until everything is evenly coated in the sauce and heated through, about 1–2 minutes.

5. Garnish and Serve:
Remove from heat. Plate the noodles and top with kimchi, sesame seeds, and thinly sliced red chillies. Serve hot and enjoy your bold, Korean-inspired stir-fry!
